Not at all. Everything is explained in English, and key Hebrew words come with pronunciation, audio and meaning, so you pick up Hebrew naturally as you go.
English verses use the classic JPS 1917 translation, shown alongside the Hebrew text with nikud. G-d’s name is written respectfully as “G-d” and “Hashem”.
Torah Chat is an AI study companion. It’s guided to answer from a traditional perspective, drawing on Rashi, Rambam, Pirkei Avot and the Talmud, and it stays focused on Jewish learning. Like any AI it can make mistakes, so treat it as a way to explore and ask questions — not as a source of halachic rulings. For practical halacha, please ask your rabbi.
